Northwest Mounted Police Barracks

The Northwest Mounted Police barracks and houses in the foreground. The log building on 4th Avenue to the right was a red cross drop in centre in the 1942 Alaska Highway construction period. Behind is Elliott St. and the building to the right background was the post office and court house. White Pass Depot and the river boat shipping warehouses stretching along the Yukon River.
